Compensation

In the event of loss or other accidents during storage, the compensation limit per pair is capped at the purchase price (*1), and compensation will be provided according to the compensation rate (*2) determined by our company based on the years of use.

Compensation Conditions

Our company's liability for accident compensation is limited to the following:

・Damage, significant discoloration, or significant fading due to cleaning processes.

・Loss of items entrusted to us.

・Other cases where an accident occurs due to our negligence.

Exclusions from Compensation

Our company will not be held responsible for compensation if an accident to an entrusted item is caused by any of the following, and our company could not foresee the accident despite exercising reasonable professional care:

・Stains such as food spills, cosmetics, household detergents, or mud splashes that cannot be removed by our cleaning techniques.

・Natural wear and tear from customer use that became noticeable after cleaning.

・Discoloration or fading that became noticeable after cleaning due to the customer having applied chemicals or similar substances.

・Items that have deteriorated or changed over time.

 

Cleaning Precautions

・Items entrusted to us may be damaged due to age-related deterioration or hydrolysis.

・Depending on the material, there is a possibility of color fading, color transfer, discoloration, or hardening.

・Existing scratches or tears may worsen with cleaning.

・Depending on the condition of the shoes, cleaning may be suspended.

・Please be sure to check the condition of the shoes when entrusting them to us.

 

*1 Applies only when there is proof of the purchase price. If there is no proof of the purchase price, the manufacturer's listed retail price will be the upper limit.

*2 Compensation rate corresponding to the number of months passed since the item's purchase (excerpt from cleaning accident compensation standards)

Average Service Life by Product

Sneakers / 2 years

・Compensation amount = Purchase price of the item × Compensation rate corresponding to the number of months passed since the item's purchase

・We may ask to confirm the purchase date of the item.

Remarks

The classification into A-grade, B-grade, and C-grade within the compensation rate is based on the item's condition of use and applies as follows:

A-grade: Items in excellent condition relative to the elapsed time since purchase.

B-grade: Items deemed to have been used normally relative to the elapsed time since purchase.

C-grade: Items inferior to B-grade relative to the elapsed time since purchase.
